Consultations with Career Professionals

A summary of our consultations to address knowledge gaps in the career services ecosystem in Canada.

Home >

Goss Gilroy Inc., in partnership with the Labour Market Information Council (LMIC), will be contacting career professionals in Canada to participate in an online survey, interviews and/or small group discussions related to understanding the career service delivery ecosystem in Canada.

Below you will find a summary of this initiative.

The Project

The Labour Market Information Council is dedicated to providing Canadians with timely, high-quality and relevant labour market information (LMI).

We recognize the important role that career professionals play in helping Canadians navigate, among others, career and training decisions. To that end, LMIC has commissioned a pilot project to better understand how it can better serve and support the career service ecosystem in Canada.

The main objectives of the project are:

  • shedding light on the challenges and barriers that service delivery agents face to support their clients; and
  • understanding what LMI and related tools are available, used and needed by career development professionals.

For questions or more information on this project, you can contact Nicole LaBossiere of GGI at nlabossiere@ggi.ca or Lorena Camargo of LMIC at lorena.camargo@lmic-cimt.ca.
