In a nutshell – Brett Hotas is motivated by opportunities that create social value. Having managed, developed, and researched several social enterprise ventures which created meaningful employment opportunities for differently-abled folks, he’s passionate about ensuring everybody gets a fair shot.

Brett’s current responsibilities as a Senior Manager with TECHNATION’s Future Workforce Development team is to effectively lead his team to manage $120M in government funding to deliver a series of projects and programming to address gaps in the tech sector’s talent pipeline. This includes the Career Ready wage subsidy program which has supported over 10,000 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities for post-secondary students across Canada, as well as the deployment of a series of tools under the LMI platform, CareerFinder. These tools are a first of their kind in Canada, offering real-time informatics to individuals interested in participating in our digital workforce.
