About James
James's career in the field of human services spans over 29 years. He has worked for the Meadow Lake Tribal Council Treatment Center, Government of Saskatchewan in both the Ministries of Social Services and Corrections & Policing. After spending fourteen years with the Government of Saskatchewan James worked in the private industry selling Peterbilt Trucks before returning to the field of human services. He enjoyed short employment stints as an Aboriginal Court Worker & Employment Counsellor before moving on to Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies as Project Manager, Meadow Lake Career Centre. Prior to his current role as Director of Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) Director of Career Centre's & JobConnections program he held the positions of Director of Justice, Interim Director of White Buffalo Youth Lodge, Acting General Manager and Director of Employment & Training Services for the Saskatoon Tribal Council.
