Kristin Vandegriend is a career development practitioner based in Coquitlam, BC. She is currently the program manager for the Talent Forward program at the BC Chamber of Commerce which seeks to promote student talent to BC businesses and non-profits. Currently, she also works part-time at Simon Fraser University in work-integrated learning (WIL) department as a co-op coordinator as well as an instructor for the Employment and Job Search Skills course through SFU's Career Development Practitioner certificate program. Previous to these roles, Kristin focused on running her career management and resume writing business, Career Story, and worked as a case manager and facilitator within government-funded career programs. In her free time, Kristin is often outdoors, enjoying her e-bike, hiking, or trying to convince her kids that family trips in nature are fun.
