Shannon Baikie is the Regional Manager, Community and Labour Market Services and Executive Director for North Island Employment Foundations Society on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and is based in Campbell River.

Prior to joining North Island Employment in 2009, Shannon spent over 10 years working in the tech start-up space as a VP, Human Resources. She holds an MA in Community Economic Development from the University of Victoria and is a Certified Career Development Practitioner through the BC Career Development Association.

With a background in the private and non-profit sectors, Shannon brings a unique skill set in her ability to manage highly complex contracts while understanding policy and governance. The businesses and organizations in which Shannon has held senior leadership positions in over the past 20 years have been recognized with numerous awards for excellence in career development; business; human resources; diversity leadership; and community achievement.
