As Associate Deputy Minister responsible for Emploi-Québec and Secretary General of the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, Ms. Bourassa is in charge of producing and disseminating labour market information and sector-based intervention.

Ms. Bourassa has a Bachelor of Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal. Having started her career with Human Resources Development Canada, Ms. Bourassa joined the negotiating team for the Canada-Québec labour market implementing agreement and worked on establishing the services delivered by Emploi-Québec. She became a Director of Employment Measures and Services with the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale, where she was responsible for service delivery on Emploi Québec’s creation. She later became Assistant Director General of employment measures and social solidarity. As such, she was also responsible for developing the Emploi-Québec information technology investment plan. In 2008, she became Associate Deputy Minister of Operations with the Ministère de la Famille et des Aînés. She returned to Emploi-Québec in 2011 where she performs her current duties as Associate Deputy Minister and Secretary General of the Commission de partenaires du marché du travail.
