About Dana
Dana Spurrell joined the provincial public service of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1994. She most recently served as Chief Executive Officer with the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board. With 25 years of experience, Ms. Spurrell has held a number of Executive and senior positions within government crossing over Environment, Emergency Services, Executive Council, Labour Market, Labour Relations and Public Engagement. Having served as an Analyst in Intergovernmental Affairs and as Co-chair for the Forum of Labour Market Ministers early in her career, Ms. Spurrell brings a strong background in federal provincial policy, corporate management and stakeholder engagement. Ms. Spurrell possesses a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Masters of Applied Social Psychology degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
