About Henry
Henry Siu is a Professor of Economics at the University of British Columbia and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research focuses on macroeconomics and labour economics, with work on automation and the decline of middle-class jobs, recessions and jobless recoveries, and youth unemployment. Henry was the first recipient of the Bank of Canada Governor's Award and has served as a visiting scholar or consultant with the Federal Reserve Banks of Chicago, Minneapolis and St Louis, the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Bank of Canada.
