Ms. Hayes is currently the Executive Director of Employment Solutions for Immigrants/Manitoba Start. She is a certified adult and vocational educator, holding a PhD in Education, and specializes in workplace development and workforce culture.

Manitoba Start is the gateway program for over 6000 new Canadians who are seeking employment in Manitoba each year. Manitoba Start supports labour market integration for highly skilled immigrants through to recent refugee newcomers. The organization also provides business services including staffing supports, job matching and workplace diversity training solutions. Over the past 20 years, Ms. Hayes has developed a comprehensive understanding of business, newcomer and employee development strategies through the management of human resources/organizational development divisions, the development of a national training organization and delivery of education at the university/college level. Ms. Hayes has also consulted on and developed human resource solutions, diversity programs and training across Canada and internationally.
