Over 400,000 Canadian job openings were posted on LinkedIn in Canada in 2018. To mine this wealth of data, we partnered with LinkedIn to shed light on the skills that employers want. This analysis of job skills information enabled us to summarize the most frequently sought-after skills in 10 major cities across Canada. Check out the report: Insights into skills and jobs advertised on LinkedIn in 2018.
Executive Director Steven Tobin wrote the LinkedIn article Shifting our thinking towards skills, while keeping an eye on jobs as an overview of this report.
